Degree in Law from the Faculty of Law of Nova University Lisbon, Postgraduate in Information Management Systems (specialization in Marketing Intelligence) from Nova Information Management School, Postgraduate in Advanced Studies in Law and Security from the Faculty of Law of Nova University Lisbon, Master in Legal Sciences from the Faculty of Law of Nova University Lisbon, is a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Law of Nova University Lisbon, developing research on Data Protection and Cybersecurity.

Compliance Officer and Data Protection Officer since 2010, he has directed the implementation of Regulatory Compliance, Data Protection or Information Security activities in private and public institutions, both in Portugal and in other countries of the European Union, being also responsible, since 2016, for the On-site Training and Distance Training Programs of the Data Protection Training Centre.

In addition to being certified as a Trainer, he is also certified as an Internal Security Auditor and as a Security Director, under the terms of the applicable legislation.
